For a multi-unit development, nbn has strict requirements to adhere to the Telecommunications guidelines. STELA Group is an nbn accredited supplier and can provide you with an end-to-end quote that includes the installation of the external and internal communication pathways, and the VC-81 Forms 1 & 2, and the Development Application to satisfy nbn and council conditions.
Designs are required for medium to large developments. STELA Group can assess your site and can advise when nbn CAD designs are a requirement for your application.
It is the developer’s responsibility to arrange all works within the boundary. NBN contractors complete the upgrade to the infrastructure to the boundary point. Once nbn has deemed site ready for service, the retail service provider all cabling and equipment installations.
It is recommended that nbn accredited suppliers are contacted for these works to ensure that the industry guidelines have been followed to satisfy nbn’s requirements. nbn Site Inspections are compulsory. Any installations that have not met the criteria can be defected and can cause delays to your application.
We require a minimum of 1 weeks’ notice to book in the required works. Please note that a Purchase Order or upfront is a requirement for us to commence works.
For Pit & Pipes, we require the sites to be at lock up stage, site clear of obstruction, scaffolding, rubbish, and materials.
For Internal pathways, we will need to attend at rough-in stage (prior to plaster), at fit-off stage to mount internal equipment, and at Final Inspection stage, to ensure that all criteria have been met to satisfy nbn’s requirements.
