We require the Site Plans, Council allocated street addressing document, and Plan of Subdivision. An additional form from our team will need to be filled out as well. Please contact our team and we can have this sent over to you.
It’s crucial to provide a proposed electrical pit location as the distributors will assume where pits are required if this information is not provided. Please provide this information when returning the documents to us.
Ausnet will invoice $1650 site assessment fee to provide an electrical pit quote. Other distributors provide quotes at no cost to you.
Each distributor quotes electrical pits differently, majority of distributors will charge from pole to proposed pit location whereas United Energy charge based on how many dwellings will be utilising the electrical pit
Pit applications have an offer of their quote which expires after 20-30 days, once this is closed, they will not re-open the application it requires relodging and the application processing all over again, so timeframes are very important to ensure it gets completed in a timely manner.
Ausnet take the longest for pits to be installed this can be up to 6 weeks, then United Energy takes roughly 40 business days almost 2 months. The remaining distributors take roughly 1 month for pit installations. Please contact us if you would like to know the progress of the installation.
